Home Sweet Home

That's right! We found a place to call home! I am so excited! Things are finally starting to come together. We are going to be renting a basement apartment in Bountiful, and it is exactly what we were looking for. Just something simple until we can buy a place. It is actually quite cute, and I can't wait to decorate! Every time I walk in I just think about what will go there or what would look cute here, and it is fun to get Jerry's oppinion too... He has a pretty good design sense, surprisingly enough! It's just nice to have something that is "ours". Weird to think that there isn't any mine, his or hers anymore... it's all ours. Weird... but so exciting! :) I can't wait to have us both in the place... hopefully Jerry can find a place for his clothes... haha... just kidding! Pictures will come once we get all settled in! I am expecting a visit from all of you soon!

Plan Plan Plan

Blah Blah Blah.

We are almost done planning the big day! It has only taken me about a few freak-outs to get there, but we are almost done! Jerry has been so patient with me... I don't know what I would do without him! He is so great with all the little details... he even helped choose the flowers! He booked our honeymoon tonight, and I cannot wait! Cancun, here we come! We are going to have so much fun! I just wish it would come sooner! Actually, no... it can stay far away for a few more days... until I get the rest of the planning done.

Until then, goodbye... and if you don't hear from me. I'm planning.

How many licks...

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

How many dresses does a bride have to try on before she finds "the one"?

Apparently, A LOT. I have just returned from a crazy night of dress shopping with my big sis! It was so fun, but it is so hard to decide which dress is the one!?! Luckily I have good friends and family to give me lots of advice! I think I have found the one, and I can't wait to show Jerry... it is going to be a hard secret to keep, but I think I can do it! Can't wait to show you all! February 21st is coming up FAST!

We're Engaged!

Yes, I have given in to the tempting calls of blogging. I have never done this before, but have kept close tabs on my far away cousins and other family through their blogs. I am hoping ours will do the same for those we love.

So much has been going on lately, and I need to catch you all up! First of all, WE'RE ENGAGED! Jerry asked me to marry him on November 8th just before we left to visit my mom in Arizona. It was perfect, I couldn't have asked for anything better! We are so excited and we can't wait to start an exciting new adventure together! Although, planning a wedding can have its stressful moments! I had no idea how much work went into planning a wedding! Luckily, Jerry just finished his finals so he has a bit more time to help me out with the wedding details, which I am sure he loves! ;) And I have a WONDERFUL family and the support and love of many others! I couldn't do it without them. All the great advice and many long talks from our parents have given us a whole new perspective of how to start our new life together, so we have set many goals and are working hard to reach them! I am just excited to be a Flannery girl and have a whole new set of sisters and another brother to add to the already plentiful fox clan! Jerry has been so great through all of this and is keeping me very grounded and relaxed. He is great! Jerry just received his associates degree and will begin his classes towards his degree in Engineering in the fall. I am currently working as a banker at Chase Bank, and loving it! So between school, the holidays, work and a wedding we have had our plates pretty full. But it is a very exciting time, and I wouldn't trade it for anything. Hopefully we can document this crazy and exciting time in our lives and keep you all posted on what is going on!

We love you all!
