We threw a bridal shower for my best friend, Lauren, a couple weeks ago. The theme was Naughty or Nice. Here was her invitation.... I know it is a little cheesy, but I thought it got the point across.
Christmastime is drawing near
Will Santa visit Lauren this year?
Has she been NAUGHTY and will pay the price,
or has she been kind and super NICE?
Will she get sassy nighties and a big lump of coal?
Or everything she wants from Macy's, Bed Bath & Beyond and the North Pole?
Please join us for a party for the soon to be Mrs.
Let's shower her with gifts, hugs and kisses.
December 4th is the date.
Seven o'clock... don't be late.
Bring a gift for the future Mrs. Price
Will it be NAUGHTY or will it be NICE?
We went all out and set up candy jars with "naughty" candy (chocolates wrapped in black foil to look like coal. On the wrapper for the candy it said "naughty never tasted so nice". Loved it.) and "nice" candy. We gave little Christmas ornaments with a tag on them with the wedding date and bride and grooms name out as favors at the end of the night. We played a couple of games to see who knew the bride the best. It was really fun! We had also recorded her fiance, Eric, answering some questions and whenever their answers didn't match she had to put a piece of hubba bubba bubblegum in her mouth. She has a tiny little mouth so it was extra funny! We had some delicious soup bowls, salad and lots of yummy treats. Thanks everyone who helped out with the food, it was great!
{the whole gang... love these girls}
{It looked like Christmas!}
