We decided to stop in Vegas half way home {it is a LONG drive} and give our legs a stretch. We stayed at a hotel that we booked on travelocity... it said it was "right on the strip" of downtown Las Vegas. I'm not sure what strip they were talking about, but we were pretty far away from the Vegas strip I know of. We decided to venture out anyway and see what we could see. There wasn't much.... but we did catch a glimpse of these characters...
Only in Vegas, right? We had a good time just sitting and people watching for a while. We may or may not have played a few games of "Wheel.... Of..... FORTUNE!!!" and we may or may not have lost everything that we bet.... all SIX DOLLARS. We decided that we wouldn't press our luck... so we went out for some dinner and took a nice long walk down the so called "strip". It wasn't the Vegas we were hoping for, but we still had a good time.
