Merry Christmas

We had a fabulous Christmas this year... our first as a married couple! We are still very much newly-weds, and we have already almost been married one whole year! It has been a great year, and this Christmas was definitely one to remember.

A few days before Christmas we celebrated with the Fox side of the family out at my Dad's house. We had a chocolate fountain and loads of delicious food. We watched the little kids open presents, and helped Grandpa figure out his new sleek camera! It was a really fun night, and I was glad to spend some time with the family!

We started off the celebrations on Christmas Eve at the Flannery's. There we were able to eat some delicious food and be with family. We exchanged gifts with the kids and grand kids. It was so fun to be with everyone and see the kids get so excited to open their gifts.

Then we went home and opened a gift of our own... and of course, keeping with tradition, we got some new jamies! (Jerry's pants have deer on them and my shirt has little bambi's on it! I thought it was appropriate for us. haha.)

Christmas morning we woke up and made some yummy German pancakes and hung around a while before we opened our gifts. Jerry got some DVD's, clothes, socks and hunting books. I was surprised and got a great sewing machine and new scissors! I cannot wait to go out and get some fabric and whip something up! Thanks Jer, I love it! We also got some new fun games, so you are all welcome to come over and play with us!

Christmas afternoon we went over to my step-moms parents house and exchanged gifts there. It has been a while since we have had EVERYONE together, and we were only missing one sister, so it was really fun to see everyone and spend time together on Christmas day! We missed you Cakes!

To end the night we went to Jerry's parents house and watched Mama Mia. When the movie was over we looked out the window and there was six inches of snow on the ground! Definitely a white Christmas, and a fun way to end the night!
